Cubans from the Island send messages of encouragement to El Taiger: "Everyone wants to see him on stage."

In Havana, Cubans of different ages wished the singer a speedy recovery.

Cubans residing on the Island have sent messages of support to El Taiger, who is in intensive care at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami after being shot in the head last Thursday.

The independent portal CubaNet took to the streets of Havana, where Cubans of different ages wished the singer a speedy recovery.

"Get well soon, I pray for him every night, he is the best and he will overcome the severity he is facing," said a young woman.

"I hope he gets better because what can I say, he knows what he did or what was done to him," another one pointed out.

"Get well soon, everyone wants to see him on stage," a man expressed.

"May God be with you, dad, because I need to keep seeing you physically. Fight, because life is one and it must be embraced, and I know that you have the gift to move forward," stated a guitarist.

In Cuba, the news of the aggression suffered by El Taiger caused shock among his followers, who are keeping up with his health status.

On Saturday night, hundreds of people took to the streets of Guantánamo in honor of the reggaeton artist.

The initiative sparked controversy. While some supported the gesture, others questioned why people did not come out to demand freedom and protest the lack of food and the blackouts.

"My comment has nothing to do with that man; as a human, I hope he improves and can come out of that situation. But I cannot overlook a whole demonstration; however, they are not doing it to have a better life, hunger, blackouts, abuses. Idolatry is destroying them," said an elderly woman.

"Hold a march against that incapable government that has plunged the country into chronic underdevelopment and has caused the massive exodus of our youth seeking a promising future. I truly believe that the PCC has fried the brains of Cubans, the country is in blackout, children and the elderly are without food and medication, there is no public transport, and they are unable to mobilize to protest," a young man stated.

Cubans in several provinces of the country organized vigils on Friday and Saturday for the recovery of José Manuel Carbajal, the real name of El Taiger.

In Cienfuegos, Santiago de Cuba, Cárdenas, and Havana, Cubans gathered to pray for the singer's health.
