Fans of El Taiger mourn his death in front of Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Fans who were there since the news of the shooting broke and others gathered outside the Jackson Memorial to pay tribute to the reggaeton artist.


The news about the passing of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, which occurred this Thursday afternoon, according to official information, has left relatives, friends, and fans of the popular artist in mourning.

On the outskirts of Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where El Taiger's health condition was critical, hundreds of fans gathered this week to pray for his health, and now that the news of his passing is known, they flocked to the location to mourn his death.

“He was unique in what he did. I believe this is something transcendent that will affect many... and we are faithful followers of his music,” said one of the musician's fans who was outside the hospital facility to Martí Noticias.

"We didn't want to hear the news. He is already resting in peace. I am very sad about the news," said another Cuban stationed at the site.

"It's something that moves you, that hurts you. Nobody expects this. So a piece of news today, another tomorrow, but at that moment, said by his cousin Jorge, that he had passed away, we feel it too much," described another fan.

In the shared video, the horns of cars could also be heard sounding in tribute to El Taiger.

An official statement published on the artist's Instagram page confirmed the tragic outcome for the 36-year-old musician: "Unfortunately, this afternoon, El Taiger was declared dead and has now reunited with his beloved mother in heaven."

The cousin of the singer and director of Los Cuatro, Jorge Junior, stated that the incident occurred at 12:40 pm.

Several artists and personalities, especially from Cuban reguetón, have reacted to the news on social media.
