Cuban rescues a pot and a frying pan from the trash in the U.S.: "I won't let this opportunity pass."

The young Cuban described it as "madness" to waste the opportunity to recover items that are still useful, even though they are in the trash.

A Cuban resident in the United States shared on social media a common practice among many emigrants, although not always acknowledged: picking up from the trash equipment, utensils, or other useful objects to save money.

The young man shared a video on TikTok (@malditomulato) where he shows the moment he retrieves a rice cooker and a frying pan from the trash, both with their respective lids.

"Are you crazy? I'm not letting this opportunity slip by," wrote the young man in the post.

Although some people may feel embarrassed, others see the rescue of useful objects from the trash as an excellent opportunity, and they do not hesitate to share it on their social media.

Such is the case of the young Cuban Letty Caballero, residing in the United States, who shared a video on TikTok showing things she has picked up from the trash and restored for her home.

With the message "Give things a second chance, not your ex," the young woman posted the video that has captured the attention of her followers, who applauded her skills in giving new life to discarded objects.

However, even Sebastian and Nuria, a couple of Spanish YouTubers residing in Florida, were shocked by the good condition of many items that are thrown away in some areas of that American state.

"The things that are thrown away in the United States. You won't believe it!" the influencers presented in their Instagram channel SN Challenge the first of three videos in which they expressed their astonishment for the mentioned reason.

What do you think?
