Authorities in Lighthouse Point, a city in Broward County, Florida, have issued an alert following the disappearance of 15-year-old Hispanic teenager Leilani González.
The girl was last seen on the first Sunday of November in the area of block 3000 on Northeast 48th Street in LightHouse Point. At that time, she was wearing a blouse, shorts, and black tights, with black boots.
The minor is five feet tall, weighs 110 pounds, has curly black and purple hair, and brown eyes, according to the missing person alert issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on their profile on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
It calls for citizen cooperation and encourages people to contact the authorities if they have any information regarding the whereabouts of Leilani González. To facilitate this, the numbers 954-942-8080 and 911 have been made available.
A Voice For The Voiceless, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of missing persons and unresolved cases, has also echoed the disappearance of the young Hispanic woman on November 2.
For family members and the authorities involved, it is important to assist in spreading the photo and description of the missing person, as the first few hours are crucial in cases that do not involve voluntary disappearance.
