A Transgaviota bus transporting foreign workers from the Moncada cement factory in Santiago de Cuba collided with a truck on Friday.
Independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada shared photos on his Facebook profile showing significant damage to the front of the bus.
Despite the strong impact, the incident did not result in any casualties or injuries.
A video released by the reporter shows that the workers exited the bus without any issues.
In the comments section of the post, a user revealed that this bus goes to the town of El Cobre.
A local resident reported that the driver of bus 5909 was responsible for the incident because he failed to stop at the stop sign and therefore collided with the trailer.
In February, a collision occurred between a Yutong bus and a sugar-laden truck that tipped over on the Central Highway, at the entrance of the town of Guáimaro in Camagüey, with no reported injuries.
According to a witness, the trailer "got tangled" with the bus when it "was trying to overtake on a small bridge, but it got too close and hooked onto it."
In June, a Transgaviota bus transporting foreign tourists from Cayo Santamaría to Abel Santamaría International Airport was collided with by a Moskvitch coming from the opposite direction.
The incident resulted in one fatality—the driver of the Russian car—who was traveling alone in the vehicle and died on the spot.
Additionally, 26 tourists were injured, including several children. Ten of them were hospitalized, all in stable condition.
