Cuban police located one of the two teenagers from Cárdenas who were reported missing over a month ago in Havana.
Ibelise Rosales, cousin of Yoandriane Díaz García, reported in the group "Cardenenses on Facebook" that the girl's mother left for the capital to look for her.
"My cousin just appeared. The police called my mom and they just left for Havana to find out what happened and where she was found. It was in Havana. As soon as we know everything in detail, I will share it all. Thank you very much for the support," he said.
Ibelise emphasized that this is the first time something like this has happened with the girl.
"One month of posting and seeking help for him to be found, and a desperate family. Thank God he is in Havana and nothing is known, neither the conditions he is in nor why he did it," he noted.
Yoandriane Díaz García, 14 years old, left her home on Saturday, January 13 and has not been heard from since. She left with a backpack full of clothes and did not return. She also did not contact her family or answer the phone again.
