Next Sunday, March 9, Little Havana in Miami will once again celebrate the Calle Ocho Music Festival, the largest Latin music festival in the United States.

From 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, 15 blocks of the iconic street will be filled with music, dance, and fun, from SW 12th Avenue to SW 27th Avenue.

This free event features multiple stages with a wide variety of music genres, ranging from merengue and salsa to reggaeton and jazz. In addition to live performances, attendees will enjoy folk dances, international cuisine, and activities for the whole family.

Among the guest artists will be the Cubans Osmany García and El Micha, who will perform on the stage of Telemundo 51 and NBC6, located at 8th Street and 22nd Avenue.

In addition to them, DJ Danny Castro, Gigi Dance Academy, Mighty Lion Jazz Combo, Xhey, Jalil López, Dembow Toronto, Alex Duval, Ben Anthony, La Diamante and Agustín, La Ganga Salsera, Don Moña, Melina Almodóvar, and the King of Carnaval, Jay Wheeler, will also perform.

Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana since 1975, the festival celebrates the diversity of Hispanic and Caribbean culture in Miami. Over the years, it has been a stage for renowned artists such as Pitbull and Gloria Estefan, and this year promises to continue that tradition of musical excellence.
