Leonardo Benítez, actor from "Tras la Huella," reveals his business "LaTitona," a café in Miramar, Havana. He preferred to maintain a low profile to avoid common criticisms directed at Cuban actors.

The renowned Cuban actor Leonardo Benítez, known for his role as Major Julio in the police series "Tras la Huella," has surprised the audience by revealing his entrepreneurial side.

In a recent interview with Cubaactores, Benítez shared details about "LaTitona," a business classified as a Bodegón/Cafetería that has remained under the radar for the past two years in Miramar, Playa, Havana.

During the interview, the actor explained his decision to keep the business low-profile: “I prefer a low profile; I don't like making a lot of noise. Unfortunately, popular actors in this country, especially those of us who filmed ‘Tras la Huella’, are labeled in a certain way and face a lot of criticism. So, I wanted to avoid bothering a significant part of this population that is often influenced by negative comments.”

Leonardo Benítez has had a prominent career in Cuban television, participating in productions such as “Patrulla 444,” the series “Enigma de un verano,” and the telenovelas “Tú” and “Latidos compartidos,” where he portrayed the popular character Maykel Junior. Additionally, his work in cinema includes films like “Ciudad en rojo” and “Fátima o el Parque de la Fraternidad.”

With the opening of "LaTitona," Benítez expands his professional horizon, demonstrating his versatility and ability to venture into different fields beyond acting.
