The event stood out this year for the thrilling performance of the “Himno de Bayamo” by Diana Fuentes, the commemorative T-shirt celebrating the centenary of Celia Cruz, and the ceremonial first pitch thrown by journalist Gloria Ordaz and singer Leoni Torres.
The Marlins also announced that a portion of the proceeds from each ticket will benefit the Celia Cruz Foundation.
