According to his testimony -published in the Facebook group Pieza Triciclos Habana- the alleged clients hired him to collect goods from a Mipyme.

During the journey, the individuals asked him to stop at a house.

When Miguel entered and went up to the house, he discovered that it did not belong to anyone he knew, and that upon returning, his tricycle had disappeared along with the two fake passengers.

“After so much effort to buy it, they stole it from me in a matter of minutes,” he lamented.

A call for citizen collaboration

The affected individual has called on the community to help him recover his tricycle or identify those responsible.

He has provided two contact numbers: 54497466 and 53170822, to receive any information about the stolen vehicle or individuals who may be selling it, either whole or in parts.

Rodríguez also warned other transporters about this new modus operandi of the thieves, who take advantage of the good faith of the drivers to carry out the theft.

"This can happen to anyone", he wrote in his post, urging that criminals should not be allowed to get away with it.
