A dramatic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the Vía Blanca in Havana, leaving several injured.

In the images shared on social media, the collision between two cars can be seen, which incredibly shattered the windshield of one of them.

The accident occurred by the Elevated Bridge, clarified the user Yuriel Fernández on Facebook.

"So far, the cause of the collision is unknown, but there are injured people. Hopefully, they recover soon," he stated.

According to witnesses speaking to the Facebook page La Tijera, “a young woman was lying on the road without vital signs while SIUM paramedics attempted to revive her; other injured individuals were transported by ambulance to Miguel Enríquez Hospital in the 10 de Octubre municipality.”
