A car lost control and collided with another vehicle and a motorcycle parked in the parking lot of Santa Clara airport, leaving four people injured last Friday.

“An accident at the Santa Clara airport. State Security did not allow cell phones to be taken out. There are four injured. It is said that the green machine lost direction and collided with the gray car and the engine that were in the parking lot. The engine belongs to an airport worker,” reported on Facebook activist Samuel Rodríguez.

The accident occurred near the Elevated Bridge, detailed the user Yuriel Fernández on Facebook.

"As of now, the cause of the collision is unknown, but there are injuries; hopefully, they will recover soon," he stated.

According to witnesses who spoke to the Facebook page La Tijera, “a young woman was lying on the road without vital signs while SIUM paramedics attempted to revive her; other injured individuals were transported by ambulance to the Miguel Enríquez Hospital in the 10 de Octubre municipality.”
