The search for Edy Rodríguez Columbié

Rodríguez, a resident of the municipality of Imías, had traveled to the city of Guantánamo to accompany his ill brother during a scheduled operation at the province's General Hospital. However, he had disappeared days earlier, triggering a call for help on social media and among neighbors.

The family had requested help to locate him, avoiding informing his mother due to her delicate health condition, as the woman suffers from a heart disease. Additionally, local authorities had been notified to assist in the search.

A few days ago, it was reported that Héctor Llanes Saavedras, an elderly resident of Camagüey, is missing and his family has urgently requested help to locate him.

The exiled journalist José Luis Tan Estrada issued an alert regarding the disappearance of Llanes: “We need your help. The man in the photo has been missing for seven days.”

This Wednesday, a worker at the Dr. Agostinho Neto Teaching General Hospital in Guantánamo also requested public assistance to locate the family of an elderly man who was found on the street and taken to the emergency room of the medical center, where he remains hospitalized “in critical condition.”
