The collision of a passenger train with a car in the municipality of Baraguá, Ciego de Ávila, on the morning of this Thursday, left no casualties, according to preliminary reports of the accident.
Social media posts revealed the incident, which involved the train operating the Baraguá-Ciego de Ávila route - machine 50933 - and a private vehicle of the Hyundai brand.
According to the information, the car was trying to cross the railway when it was struck by the locomotive, in an unspecified area. The vehicle ended up blocking the track.
No one was injured as a result of the collision, stated user Luis Pacheco Granado, in a post on Facebook.
