A truck overturned early Friday morning at kilometer 308 of the National Highway after one of its front tires blew out, according to testimonies shared on social media.

The accident occurred around 3:00 am and was reported by a member of the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES for more experience and fewer victims!", where a video was posted showing the vehicle completely overturned next to a bridge structure.

According to Norge Pérez Ruiz, who shared the images, by the time he passed by the location, there were no visible occupants in the vehicle.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

"The driver was unharmed, thank God," wrote the user Havana Estrada in the comments section.

Another witness confirmed that the cause was the explosion of a front tire and that "there were no human casualties."

This new incident adds to a troubling series of similar accidents involving trailers that occurred in Cuba during the month of July.

In all cases, a pattern of mechanical failures, tire blowouts, possible human errors, and deficiencies in the road infrastructure is repeated.

These factors have turned heavy vehicle rollovers into a persistent risk for both drivers and other road users.

Just two weeks ago, another truck overturned in the street in the municipality of 10 de Octubre, Havana, near the Cupet at 24 and Dolores, causing a great stir.

On the same day, a fatal accident occurred in Loma de Rejondones, Báguanos, Holguín, where the driver, identified as Jorgito, lost his life after veering off the road and overturning.

Although there were no casualties in the incident on Friday, the images of the vehicle beside the road highlight the seriousness of the occurrence and revive concerns about the condition of Cuba's road network and the urgent need for preventive maintenance in heavy transportation.

Authorities have not yet issued an official report on the accident at kilometer 308, but on social media, users insist that these incidents can no longer be viewed as isolated accidents, but rather as symptoms of a structural problem that requires immediate attention.
