The Cuban creator on TikTok @carmen03876, known as Carmendelis, posted a video in which she responds to a comment left on another one of her posts, where she was dancing, which said: "While Latinas are dancing on TikTok, Spanish women are working so that Latinas can receive their assistance."

"I have been here for two years, and since I arrived, I have been working," the young woman replied, asserting that she would leave Spain "when I want to, not when anyone else wants me to go." She explained that she arrived “as a Spanish citizen” through her grandfather’s descent, who emigrated to Cuba “on an illegal boat,” and emphasized, “I am not Spanish because I do not consider myself Spanish; I am Cuban, kisses, and take care.”

The video has accumulated over 8,600 "likes" and 3,700 comments, featuring supportive messages such as "We are here representing our land" and "Friend, represent your land with strength and courage." There were also those who urged to avoid confrontations: "There will always be unscrupulous people, both in Spain and in any other country. It's better to make good friendships."

The comment that sparked her response had been posted on an earlier video where Carmendelis was dancing, and she addressed it again in her new recording.
