The family's pain intensified with the spread of those rumors. One of their relatives, Lineth de la Caridad Mena Graveran, wrote directly to CiberCuba to request clarification of what had happened and to stop the dissemination of false information.

“On August 17, a relative of mine named Alexander Graveran passed away; he was from Las Terrazas. They are supposedly claiming it was a murder and that he was found beaten, which is false. He had an accident on his motorcycle, was attended to by specialists, arrived with all his belongings, and was never beaten by another person. Unfortunately, he died due to the fall he had,” he assured.

The woman described the posts circulating on social media as “fake news for profit” and requested that the memory of her loved one be respected. “I just want this information to reach each of those people who are spreading this false information, because it is causing more pain,” she emphasized.

So far, the authorities have not provided an official version of the incident, which has fueled speculation on social media. However, the family insists that Alexander Graveran's death was an accident and calls for their tragedy not to be used to spread unfounded narratives.
