A Cuban resident in Miami shared a detailed breakdown of her monthly expenses on TikTok, revealing the economic challenges she faces to support herself alone in that city in southern Florida.

“How much does this Cuban spend living alone in Miami? Here I have my notebook so I don’t forget anything,” the young woman begins to say in the video posted on her account @yaide_escalona.

According to what he explained, his monthly rent is 1,200 dollars, although he noted that "that may go down soon." To that amount, he adds 496 dollars for car payments, 230 dollars for car insurance, between 230 and 272 dollars for school, and about 150 dollars in freeway tolls.

Regarding basic expenses, he indicated that he spends around 300 dollars on food (not including dining out at restaurants), between 110 and 120 dollars on phone bills, and about 200 dollars on gasoline, although he clarified that "I always pay more."

In total, his fixed expenses amount to $2,946 per month. However, he clarified that there are additional disbursements that raise the figure by about $1,000 more, which would place his actual cost of living above $4,000 per month.
