In the absence of greater clarity, no hypothesis is ruled out, including the possibility that it is an aggression, although for now there are no conclusive elements to confirm it.

The Cuban activist Norge Ernesto Díaz Blak, known as Noly Blak, is currently under medical observation at the Pedro del Toro Polyclinic in Holguín, after being reported as a victim of an accident that caused memory loss.

This was reported on Saturday by the official journalist Miguel Reyes Mendoza, known on social media as 'Miguel Noticias', who shared the case through his profile.

“Please, if there are any relatives of Noly Black (Grupo de Ayuda Holguín), urgently contact 53785677. The person was involved in an accident, is experiencing memory loss, and is currently at the Polyclinic Pedro del Toro, in Holguín,” wrote Reyes Mendoza, known for collaborating with the state communication apparatus on public order issues.

It is noteworthy that the initial report about the case comes from this user, a communicator with frequent access to sources from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) and a regular disseminator of official versions on social media.

His involvement in this medical alert, without any known relatives present at the scene, adds a nuance that many online have deemed unusual.

Along with the post, Reyes Mendoza shared an image of Noly Blak with noticeable injuries to the head, including two prominent bruises on the forehead, which were striking due to their location and appearance.

Although the incident has been described as an accident, the type of visible injuries —apparently caused by distinct blunt force impacts— has raised suspicions and questions among those monitoring the humanitarian work of the activist, particularly given the repressive context in which his efforts take place.

Noly Blak has gained recognition in recent years for leading independent social aid initiatives in Holguín, particularly focused on assisting single mothers, sick children, and families in extreme poverty.

Without being linked to official structures, it has managed to channel donations, deliver housing, and mobilize support both within and outside of Cuba, becoming a respected figure within the community and, at the same time, uncomfortable for certain sectors of power that view this activism as an undercover form of protest and public exposure of poverty and other social ills caused by the government's incompetence and indifference.

So far, no official statements or precise details have been provided regarding how the events occurred. It is also unclear whether their families have been contacted or if the authorities have initiated any investigation into the incident.

The online community has reacted with concern, and many users have started sharing information seeking urgent support.

In the absence of further clarity, no hypothesis is ruled out, including the possibility that it could be an act of aggression, although for now there are no conclusive elements to confirm this.

CiberCuba will stay alert to the developments of the case and will provide updates as verified information becomes available.
