The lifeless body of a young man was found on the morning of this Tuesday in Zone 7 of the Alamar neighborhood, in the municipality of East Havana, according to the report by the page La Tijera on its social networks.

A neighbor in the area explained in an audio message sent to the CiberCuba newsroom that the body was found "next to the garages of the building, on the side facing the Fotoservice," and that the scene was cordoned off while authorities worked. The same source claimed that one of the agents present was the father of the deceased young man, although that detail has not been officially confirmed.

In the comments on the post about La Tijera, a user claiming to be a relative of the deceased wrote that the young man showed no visible bruises or fractures and called for a thorough investigation into the case; she identified him as a 23-year-old graduate of Dentistry, although this information has not been independently verified by CiberCuba.

Alamar, one of the most populated neighborhoods in eastern Havana, has been the scene of several violent incidents and deaths under investigation in recent months, raising concerns among residents about the growing insecurity in the area.
