A video shared on TikTok by user @leydilauravargasgarcia has touched hundreds of internet users by showing the emotional reunion of two Cuban brothers in the United States after nearly three years apart.

In the images, taken in a parking lot under a radiant sun, a moment is captured when the man tightly embraces his sister while holding a small girl, his niece, whom he has just met for the first time.

"It had been almost three years without seeing you, I love you so much," wrote the young woman alongside the video, which quickly filled with messages of support, love, and nostalgia from other Cubans who have experienced similar family separations.

The scene, full of tenderness, also depicts the uncle approaching the girl with emotion, as she holds a blue stuffed animal, while the mother tries to hold back her tears.

Thousands of Cubans in exile have identified with this gathering, which reflects a shared reality: families divided by migration, who wait for years to embrace each other again.
