The popular Instagram profile Only in Dade has once again ignited social media with a video that humorously depicted one of the most typical scenes of Cuban Miami: an Uber driver "decked out to the nines."

In the clip, which has already garnered thousands of reactions, a Cuban driver is seen driving a Honda filled with religious images, necklaces, and bracelets from Afro-Cuban traditions, alongside protective figures and magical charms to ward off evil.

The video, accompanied by the song “Hasta que se seque el Malecón (Remix)” by Jacob Forever and Farruko, showcases how the driver personalizes his vehicle with dedication and style, also highlighting his sound system, so that the “distribution” sounds loud and clear.

On the dashboard of the Honda, figures like San Lázaro and other saints from the Yoruba pantheon could be seen, while the driver wore bracelets and amulets typical of Cuban santería.

The comments came in quickly. Some users applauded it with laughter: “The safest trip you will ever take in your life”, wrote a follower; another joked: “That man isn’t even touched by the air, he’s protected to the max”.

Many recognized it as a reflection of the religious syncretism of the Cuban community in exile: “Ashé for my Cuban brother, may you walk clean, scented, and work honestly”, commented a user.

Others, on the other hand, expressed discomfort with the display of religious symbols inside the vehicle: “That's fine for your home, not for an Uber”, commented an internet user.

Between jokes, pride, and debate, the "final boss of Cuban drivers" has become a viral symbol of Creole identity in Miami: superstition, faith, hard work, and a strong personality. Because, as the comments say, "with that Uber, no evil can enter".
