A young Cuban woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing a video in which she appears dressed as Rumi, one of the characters from the Netflix animated film "Las K-popo: Demon Hunters," but with a very unique twist: she dances to a Cuban salsa version of the famous song “Golden”!

The video, published by creator @danaviral, has garnered thousands of views and dozens of comments celebrating the creativity, rhythm, and joy that the young woman conveys as she reinterprets the K-pop universe from a Caribbean perspective.

"I wish that rumba could help us get rid of the demons in Cuba," commented a user, alluding to the problems facing the country. Another follower wrote: "That's it! Such a Cuban dance... that salsa version turned out beautiful, I love it."

The messages echo the same sentiment: admiration, pride, and joy. "I simply love this version of Rumi, it's phenomenal, bringing joy to everyone's life. God bless you always,” expressed another person.

The phenomenon once again shows how Cubans manage to blend global culture with their unique identity, transforming K-pop into rumba, flavor, and Caribbean energy.

In times when Cuban reality is marked by challenges, the so-called "Cuban Rumi" has managed to bring smiles, demonstrating that art, humor, and rhythm continue to be a refuge and resistance for many on the island.
