The content creator Rosabel Orihuela (@rosy_orihuela01) shared a video featuring a quick and easy recipe for Cuban cookies, one of those classic desserts that never go out of style.
Crispy, sweet, and with that homemade flavor that brings back childhood snacks, you no longer need to buy them; you can make them at home and they'll be ready in just 15 minutes.
To start, beat three eggs with a pinch of salt and a splash of vanilla extract. When the mixture doubles in size, gradually add 120 grams of sugar, and continue beating until you achieve a thick texture, similar to meringue.
Then, sift 120 grams of flour and one teaspoon of baking powder, gently folding them in to avoid deflating the mixture. With the help of a piping bag, pipe the little cakes onto parchment paper on a baking tray. Sprinkle a bit of sugar on top to give them that crunchy touch.
Bake them in a preheated oven at 350°F (about 180°C) until golden brown. Let them cool and enjoy these delicious Cuban pastries, perfect for pairing with coffee or as a sweet treat at any time of the day.
