The Cuban singer Dianelys Alfonso Cartaya, better known as La Diosa, once again set social media ablaze after making very direct statements about the influencer Pollito Tropical, with whom she was involved in one of the most talked-about controversies of the year due to the launch of their perfumes. True to her unfiltered style, the interpreter held nothing back and made it clear that her relationship with the content creator is broken.
During a live broadcast, a follower asked her if she had sent money to Pollito, who is currently participating in the Dominican reality show La Casa de Alofoke 2, where audience donations determine the contestants' stay. La Diosa's response was as spontaneous as it was powerful: “No, I didn't send a cent to Pollito. Because Pollito, before entering Alofoke, attacked me for no reason. I would have supported him, because I'm one of the few artists who always supports people. But you have a bad memory, he attacked me.”
The artist went further and explained that, although she had a close friendship with him in the past, she does not intend to extend a hand again after what happened. "I'm not going to give him 500 dollars, no. The 500 dollars are for my children. I'm just not a hypocrite," she said with complete naturalness, making it clear that there is no turning back between them.
The conflict between Pollito Tropical and La Diosa dates back to late 2024, when the influencer accused the singer of announcing her perfume shortly after sending out private invitations for the launch of his own. Although that episode came to light months later—when Pollito discussed the issue shortly before entering the reality show—the artist defended her innocence, claiming it was all a coincidence without any ill intent.
Now, La Diosa decided to let off some steam and recalled that moment with evident annoyance: “We are in the United States, we can all release perfumes. What a terrible and disgusting attitude from Pollito. I had a lovely friendship with him, I went on his podcast, but then he trashed me just because I launched a fragrance.”
But Pollito wasn't the only topic he discussed. During the same broadcast, a follower asked him about his friendship with Ultrack and Claudia Artiles, with whom he maintained a close and very visible relationship on social media for months. The singer responded with laughter, “Look, let’s talk about my hair instead. Don’t you like my new wig?” trying to dodge the question, although his gestures made it clear that something had changed.
Seconds later, he added in a more serious tone: “Life is like that; there are changes in life. It’s not for any particular reason, it’s just how it is, it happens.” His words confirmed what many had already suspected: that the friendship with Claudia and Ultrack is on hold.
