A Cuban mother had an emotional moment that has gone viral on TikTok after receiving the news that her son, who lives in the United States, had finally received approval for his residency along with his wife.
In the video posted by the user @lizdq29, a video call is shown in which the young man shares the good news with his mother, who is in Cuba. Upon hearing the news, the woman cannot contain her emotion and responds through tears: “Oh, my love, how wonderful, finally.”
The post includes the message: “The most awaited surprise for everyone. The excitement is beyond words,” accompanied by a smiling emoji with hearts.
The clip has deeply moved viewers, especially Cubans both on and off the island, who identified with the story. Among the comments, messages such as:
