The clip showcases several emotional moments: the embrace with their parents, grandparents, and other loved ones, in scenes that reflect the joy and nostalgia of family reunions that so often characterize the experiences of Cubans who emigrate.
The video quickly amassed thousands of views and reactions on TikTok, where comments filled with warmth and empathy abound. "Hug your grandparents tightly," wrote one user; while another confessed, "This video made me cry." Other users also shared their emotions: someone commented, "I cried with those hugs," and another person added, "How lovely, what joy those hugs bring."
