A poignant video has gone viral on social media, capturing the moment when a young Cuban returns to the island and reunites with her family after two years apart.

The video, shared on TikTok by user @yenly.montero.mor, captures the exact moment when the young woman breaks down in tears while embracing her mother and other relatives who were anxiously waiting for her in the street.

"My arrival in Cuba after 2 years, thank you God for allowing me to see my family," the protagonist wrote in the post, which has touched hundreds of users who left messages of affection and empathy.

The images reflect the harsh reality of thousands of Cuban families separated by emigration, who find in these reunions a relief from the pain of distance and the difficult conditions of traveling or reuniting in their own country.

The emotional embrace symbolizes the love and hope that persist despite the borders, shortcomings, and obstacles imposed by the Cuban regime.
