A Cuban truck driver living in the United States shared on TikTok his unique experience of taking his wife to work with him for the first time, and the result conveyed a message filled with humor, fatigue, and admiration for the profession.

In the video posted by the user @tankemio1, the driver appears alongside his wife, who, visibly exhausted, shares how her first day on the road was.

“The experience has been good, we have felt really cold, I feel tired, I was really sleepy,” the Cuban woman said amid laughter and fatigue.

The truck driver joked with his partner, saying that he wouldn't want to repeat the experience

"He says he's not coming back, his first time. I told him, 'Come on, my dear, so you can see what driving a truck is like,'" she commented amidst laughter.

Beyond the humorous tone of the video, the Cuban took the opportunity to send a message to all the women who have a truck driver as their partner:

"If you are the wife of a truck driver, appreciate the sacrifice of your husband, because you don't know how many hours of sleep and work that man endures to provide you with the best."

The clip, which has garnered thousands of views and comments, has resonated with many users, who highlighted the toughness of working on the road and the importance of recognizing the efforts of those who do it.

In recent years, an increasing number of Cubans have found truck driving to be a means of livelihood in the United States, a demanding job that involves long hours behind the wheel, extensive distances, and, in many cases, a family life disrupted by constant movement.
