The Cuban influencer Flor de Cuba couldn't be happier. Despite having recently gone through a serious health issue — she had to undergo emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy and is still in recovery — the young woman didn’t want to miss the chance to share one of the best pieces of news of her life with her followers: she finally managed to take her family out of the Island so they can enjoy a dream vacation in the Dominican Republic.
"I shouldn’t have told you this, but I’m very excited. I'm getting my family out of Cuba. Join me in booking a trip to the Dominican Republic for my children and my family," she shared amidst laughter and tears, while showing the preparations from a travel agency. Her spontaneity and joy moved thousands of people who celebrated this great family achievement alongside her.
Flor explained that she will not be traveling this time, as she has been living in the United States for a year, but her aunt will accompany the family as the trip's sponsor. “I’m super excited. I can already picture my kids with the dolphins, in the natural pools, experiencing everything, at the luxury hotel... I chose a five-star hotel. The package includes everything,” she recounted with a smile that said it all.
Clearly moved, the Cuban creator revealed that this trip holds a very special significance: her brother, a cancer survivor, has never left the country, and this will be his first experience outside of Cuba.
Flor assured that this is just the beginning of an even bigger dream. "The Dominican Republic is the first stop, because then I'm going to take them to Dubai, Japan, Korea, Egypt... I'm going to give them a whole tour of the world," she said with a laugh, making it clear that she wants her family to experience everything she has been able to achieve outside the Island.
“They will enjoy every achievement of mine here. I am happy if they are happy,” she summarized with great emotion.
