The White House claimed that the United States produces “more oil than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined” and estimated that production at 24.2 million barrels per day.

In an official publication, the administration assured that the country is experiencing an era of “unprecedented energy dominance” under President Donald Trump and Secretary Wright.

The message states that, thanks to Trump's policies, the United States leads the world in oil and natural gas production, with "record production at all times."

In the same statement, the White House also claimed that the U.S. produces "as much natural gas as Russia, Iran, and China combined," with a figure of 108 billion cubic feet per day.

In addition to the comparison with Russia and Saudi Arabia, the text includes an economic balance: it states that the average price of gasoline is at $2.90 per gallon, “the lowest level in four years,” and that the “savings” for Americans would exceed $500 million “this Christmas.”

In this same vein, the White House attributed the lifting of the LNG export ban imposed by the previous administration to the start of this administration and stated that, since January, the Department of Energy has approved export capacity exceeding the volume exported by the "second largest global exporter" of LNG.

The message added that, since Trump took office, the prices of propane, kerosene, firewood, and heating fuel would have decreased, and that the Department of Energy would be “refilling and repairing” the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) after what was described as a “reckless” drawdown for political reasons during the previous administration.

The publication also mentions regulatory measures from the Department of Energy in 2025, including a “deregulatory” effort with the proposal to eliminate 47 regulations, the withdrawal of four conservation rules, and the issuance of 16 emergency orders to, according to the text, maintain the reliability of the electrical grid during demand peaks and extreme weather.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly placed the price of gasoline at the center of his agenda, with a promise aimed at resonating with citizens worried about inflation: to bring the cost of a gallon of fuel down to two dollars, or even less.

Trump, who has made fuel prices a recurring topic in his remarks, emphasized that this goal could be more easily achieved “if we weren’t building the national reserve strategy that Biden emptied before the elections, so they could try to get elected.”

In her direct criticism of the former president, she accused her predecessor of using the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) for electoral purposes rather than for actual emergencies.
