The Cuban influencer Flor de Cuba has once again captivated social media with her trademark humor and spontaneity. This time, it was not due to a joke or a viral challenge, but rather her hair experience in Miami and the amusing reflection she shared afterwards: “Because of the Miami hype,” she remarked with laughter, recalling her visit to a luxury Russian salon that left her with mixed feelings.
A few weeks ago, Flor mentioned that she was looking for a "costly, elegant, millionaire blonde," which is why she decided to seek the help of Russian stylists. The video went viral—surpassing nine million views—and at that moment she claimed to be happy with the result. However, she now admits that the satisfaction didn't last long: “Yes, I loved the color, but it only lasted three washes,” she amusingly acknowledged in the comments.
In her new video, Flor was direct and unfiltered: “My hair salon video with the Russian got nine million views. What am I doing getting my hair done by a Russian? You see, that's what Miami hype does. But well, I learned my lesson. I looked for a Cuban hairstylist. She told me to come over so she could make me look better than that Russian did."
"Sometimes we think that what's exclusive, luxurious, or more expensive is what we need, when in fact the simplest, easiest, and most affordable option looks much better on us. This hairstylist really defined my curl. Please don't leave hate in the comments," she added, showing the result.
The reactions came in quickly. Many followers agreed that the new look highlighted her natural style more, while others admitted they preferred the previous blonde. “Both looks suit you, but this one looks more vibrant,” said a fan, while another joked, “Stick with the Cuban one, now that’s a blonde with flavor.”
True to her style, Flor closed with humor and a smile: "Next time I look for a hairdresser, I'm going to find one from Africa, take a 19-hour flight, and get my hair done." Once again, the influencer shows that laughing at oneself can also be a lesson in style.
