An emotional family surprise has touched thousands of users on social media. A Cuban mother, who was waiting for a package from abroad, ended up receiving something much more valuable: the embrace of her son after more than two years without seeing him.
The video, shared on TikTok by @dennis.acosta04, captures the moment the young man arrives home unexpectedly, and his mother, upon seeing him, rushes to embrace him in tears while repeatedly saying, "My love, my life!"
"How I longed for this moment, more than two years without hugging mom," the young man wrote in the post, which quickly went viral on the platform.
In the images, a girl—possibly the sister or niece of the young man—joins the emotional family embrace, completing a scene that has touched the hearts of hundreds of Cubans both on the island and abroad.
The reunion reflects the harsh reality of thousands of Cuban families separated by emigration, but it also showcases the strength of love that withstands distance and time.
