A video posted on TikTok has moved thousands to tears. The user @lisiyauge shared the moment when a Cuban father reunites and hugs his children in Cuba after seven years without being able to see them.
In the clip, you can see how the man gets out of the car and the little ones run to greet him. They hug so tightly that it seems like they want to make up for all the lost time. “After 7 years, the most anticipated hug,” is read over the images, while the song “God Bless You, Son” by Pastor Yahziel plays in the background.
The scene has touched many emotions. “I cry, you cry, we all cry,” wrote one user. “Those little hands holding tight say it all,” commented another. “Those hugs are medicine for the heart,” added another.
Among the more than 500 comments, many confessed to having cried as well. “It’s for those hugs that one must return,” read one message. Others, from outside Cuba, shared how much they miss being able to experience something like this: “I haven't seen my family in four years and this video broke my heart.”
The reunion has moved thousands and gone viral. In just a few seconds, this hug reminded everyone of a truth that many hold dear: there is no distance greater than the love of family.
