A Cuban resident in the United States was the star of an unusual scene that made thousands of TikTok users laugh after sharing the moment he accidentally took the gas pump hose with him while leaving a gas station.

The user identified as @ernesto.olivera31 posted the video with the comment: “My people, so you can see what it's like to have your head racing here in the United States. I left the gas station and took the pump with gas and all. What a crazy thing, this has never happened to me in my life!”

In the images, his vehicle, a black Chevrolet, can be seen parked on the street with the fuel hose still hanging from the tank, while the Cuban laughs at his own oversight.

The clip, which has surpassed hundreds of thousands of views, has sparked a wave of comments from other users who claim to have gone through similar situations.

"Don't worry, that has happened to all of us at some point," wrote a follower; while another added, "That's part of the stress of living in this country."

Although the incident did not cause serious damage, the video reflects —as many internet users pointed out— the fast-paced daily life of Cuban immigrants in the United States.
