“I was born in Cuba, but not in the beautiful one from postcards, rather in the one that teaches you to grow up fast”, she said at the start of the video, which has already surpassed thousands of views. Amid memories of poverty, a teenage pregnancy, and moments of depression, Flor confessed that she hit rock bottom before finding the path that changed her destiny. “The Flower of Cuba wasn’t invented; it was shaped by hunger, hardships, and losses,” she asserted.
Today she lives in the United States, where she has built a new life and a large community on social media. Through her work as a seller on TikTok Shop, she has achieved economic stability and recognition, becoming one of the most beloved Cuban figures on the platform.
