The White House surprised everyone this Thursday with a unique way to celebrate the drop in fuel prices in the United States, dancing to the beat of Gasolina, the classic by Daddy Yankee.

The government of President Donald Trump posted a video on its social media featuring music by the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist, showcasing gas prices below three dollars in all states across the country.

The video, which has already amassed over 5.5 million views and more than 543,000 likes, features images of the president in various settings alongside the message: "Promises made, promises kept… 43 US states with gas prices under $3/gallon."

The post triggered a wave of reactions on social media. While some users criticized the festive tone of the video, the majority celebrated the initiative and the economic results of the Trump administration, with comments highlighting price stability and the positive impact on consumers’ wallets.

According to data from GasBuddy cited by the White House, the national average price of regular gasoline is below $3 in 43 states, less than $2.75 in 30 states, and $2.50 or lower in 17 states. In at least 19 states, there are even reports of stations with prices below $2 per gallon, the lowest levels in five years.

The Trump administration attributes this trend to its "America First" energy policy, which seeks the energy independence and dominance of the United States, ensuring that motorists will spend $11 billion less on gasoline this year compared to 2025.
