The informal Cuban currency market has recorded a drop in the value of the freely convertible currency (MLC) in recent hours.
At 6:00 a.m. (local time) on January 23, the MLC is selling on average for 408 CUP, which represents a decrease of seven units compared to the 415 CUP reached by the Convertible Currency on the previous day.
In the case of the dollar, the U.S. currency remains at 490 CUP, which it reached on Tuesday of this week, marking its fourth consecutive day of stable value, according to the rate published this Friday by the independent medium elTOQUE.
Also unchanged is the euro, which is now trading again at 530 CUP, a value reached yesterday.
