Cuban humor took center stage again on TikTok thanks to a video that has already surpassed 9 million views. The creators @yosoy_jelly and @jessicajolyy pulled a phone prank on a Cuban named Alejandro, and the result was so funny that thousands of users can't stop watching it (or repeating its lines).

During the call, the young women pretended to be hosts of a radio station and, with complete ease, informed the Cuban that his ex-girlfriend Lisandra had contacted them to give him some tickets. From that moment on, Alejandro became the star of a genuine phone comedy. Without losing his patience, he responded with a mix of confusion and curiosity, while they interrupted him with jingles, sound effects, and commercial breaks.

But the most viral moment came when the Cuban, exhausted by the insistence, uttered the phrase that everyone is now repeating on social media: “You are burning me out.” From that point on, the comments kept coming. “Cubans are a different breed,” wrote one user with laughter. “To be Cuban, he had a lot of patience; my husband would have hung up already,” joked another.

In the comments, many highlighted that distinctly Cuban stamp that blends cleverness, resilience, and humor even in the most absurd moments. “Only a Cuban can endure so much and still laugh,” said one follower. Others praised the girls' talent: “The Mexicans shone, but the Cuban was the star of the show.”

The conversation between cultures, the misunderstandings, and Alejandro's spontaneous quips have turned the video into one of the most shared. As summed up in a comment reflecting the typical flavor of Cuban speech: "Hey, you don't mess with my people... but I've had such a laugh."
