A young Cuban touched hundreds of users on TikTok by showcasing her new tattoo of the Virgin of Charity of El Cobre, the patroness of Cuba. “I tattooed on my skin what I love the most,” she wrote alongside the video, which quickly went viral among believers and devotees.

The user identified as @patroncita_39 shared the moment when the tattoo artist removes the towel that had covered the freshly completed artwork, revealing a colorful depiction of Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre accompanied by three sunflowers.

The result depicts the Virgin holding the Child Jesus, dressed in her characteristic blue mantle with golden details, beneath a halo that symbolizes her holiness.

The tattoo, located in the center of the back, stands out for its size, precision, and rich colors, becoming an artistic and spiritual tribute to the patroness of Cubans.

In the comments of the video, several users expressed their excitement and admiration for the outcome. "How beautiful my mother is, many blessings for all Cubans," wrote a follower.

Another user commented: "Wow, what a beautiful tattoo, that artist has spectacular hands, ashé, health, money, and love." Other messages added: "Beautiful, blessings and ashé for all the daughters of Yalorde" and "Amen, dear mother, take good care of and always protect my girl."

The Virgin of Charity of El Cobre, affectionately known as Cachita, is one of the most venerated figures among Cubans and a symbol of faith, hope, and national unity.

Its sanctuary, located in the town of El Cobre in Santiago de Cuba, welcomes thousands of devotees each year who come to pay their tribute.

The tattoo by @patroncita_39 not only stands out for its artistic quality but also for the deep religious sentiment it conveys, reflecting the devotion that many Cubans keep alive both inside and outside the country.
