President Donald Trump reiterated his confidence in the main pillars of his administration during an interview with NBC News on Wednesday.
When asked about the performance of his closest team, Trump praised Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, stating that both are "doing a great job."
"J.D. Vance is fantastic, and Marco Rubio is fantastic. Both are doing a great job... One is a bit more diplomatic than the other. I think they both have great intelligence... They are both very capable," said the leader.
The praise reinforces the good rapport among Trump, Vance, and Rubio, who have established themselves as the most prominent figures in his current administration.
Rubio has led foreign policy with an emphasis on Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran, while Vance, from the vice presidency, has gained notoriety among conservative voters in the American Midwest.
During the interview, the NBC journalist asked him if he saw it possible to remain in power after January 2029.
Trump avoided responding directly: “Wouldn't it be terrible if I gave you the answer you’re looking for? It would make life much less exciting.”
