The Cuban singer Diana Ela started her 30s in the best possible way: engaged and happy. The artist shared on her social media the images of the spectacular proposal that her partner, music producer Maykel Barzagas, prepared for her on a Florida beach at sunset.
In the video, Barzagas is seen on his knees, holding the iconic blue Tiffany & Co. box, proposing in front of the sea. “Today I woke up turning 30 and engaged,” wrote the artist, who has collaborated with artists like Abraham Mateo and has worked alongside Daddy Yankee on his tour Con Calma.
Diana explained that the proposal was part of a carefully planned surprise by her partner: “My boyfriend arranged to give a drum to Oshun and Shangó the day before my birthday, and he even came up with a ritual in which we had to cover our eyes... when I took off the blindfold, I was met with this beautiful surprise”, she excitedly recounted in her stories.
