The President of the United States, Donald Trump, refrained from predicting a winner for Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

However, in a message from the White House, he stated that he expects "a great game" and warned that "it's better not to make predictions" because "you get into trouble."

Trump praised both teams: he described New England's "second resurgence," noted that Seattle has a "comeback quarterback," and emphasized the winning tradition of the Patriots, while also mentioning owner Robert Kraft.

Nevertheless, he reiterated that he would not name a favorite. Just when it seemed he was going to make the announcement, he left the message hanging and only hinted that it would be “a truly great game.”

Trump confirmed that he would not attend this year's Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California, unlike last year.

The president stated that the party was “too far away” to travel.

He also criticized the NFL for choosing Bad Bunny for the halftime show and Green Day for the opening act, stating, "I am anti them" and describing it as a "terrible choice."

The announcement of Bad Bunny as the star of the show has not been without controversy. Some conservative critics have questioned whether an artist who sings in Spanish is suitable for a performance with such a massive national audience.

The controversy has also been fueled by Bad Bunny's history of publicly criticizing U.S. immigration policies, especially actions taken by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). His stance has placed him at the center of a broader cultural and political debate in a country polarized on these issues.

Conservative sectors reacted strongly to his election, arguing that his actions send a message that does not align with their values.

This even motivated the conservative group Turning Point USA to organize an alternative “All-American Halftime Show” featuring artists like Kid Rock for the same halftime moment, a form of counterprogramming due to ideological differences.
