The Russian Embassy in Cuba will only accept consular fees in cash and in dollars

The Russian Embassy in Cuba released a fee schedule for consular services, in which all fees are listed in United States dollars (USD), including passport processing, citizenship, civil registry, notarial acts, and visas.

The tariff also indicates that the consular fees are approved by the Government Resolution of the Russian Federation dated November 11, 2010, No. 889 and will begin to be charged starting from March 2, 2026.

The document organizes the fees by categories and breaks down, in some cases, the portion corresponding to the consular fee and the reimbursement of actual expenses.

Passports and identity documents

Among the first amounts listed are:

• Passport that certifies the identity of the Russian citizen outside the territory: 35 USD.
• Passport with electronic support: 90 USD.
• Passport for minors under 14 years: 15 USD.
• Electronic passport for minors under 14 years: 50 USD.
• Passport modifications: 10 USD.

Requests for Russian citizenship

The rate sheet includes, among other things:

• Admission application for citizenship: 84.5 USD (broken down into 65 + 19.5).
• Application for renunciation of citizenship: 169 USD (130 + 39).
• Application to establish the existence or non-existence of citizenship: 65 USD.

Civil registry

In civil acts, for example:

• Marriage registration (includes certificate): 30 USD.
• Divorce registration (includes certificate): 364 USD (280 + 84).
• Name change (includes certificate): 100 USD.
• Duplicates of civil registration certificates: 26 USD (20 + 6).

The document also outlines notarial fees, such as:

• Powers for real estate to direct family members (children/spouse/parents/siblings): 52 USD (40 + 12).
• Powers to other individuals or legal entities: 91 USD (70 + 21).
• Certification of translation (per page), from a foreign language to Russian: 45.5 USD (35 + 10.5); from Russian to a foreign language: 58.5 USD (45 + 13.5).
• Authentic copies or extracts (per page): 6.5 USD (5 + 1.5).

Visas

The price list includes fees for visas for foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as a specific section for citizens of the United States

• Ordinary visa for single entry (4–20 working days): 80 USD; (1–3 days): 160 USD.
• For U.S. citizens, ordinary single-entry visa (4–20 days): 185 USD (with internal breakdown in the box).
• Visa restoration: 39 USD (30 + 9).
