They sold everything with a clear goal: to leave the country. Houses included. They made a bold bet on starting a new life outside of Cuba, but the plan did not go as they had hoped. And when the opportunity fell through, they had to pick up the pieces and start over.

The story was shared on TikTok by the user @keki_mami, who explained that both she and her partner sold their homes because they were planning to emigrate. However, the trip did not materialize, and they had to rethink their future from scratch.

"That's why it's not just a house; it's a fresh start and a chance to reclaim what we had let go of," she explained in the video, where she showcased the apartment they just bought in her husband's name.

The property is on the fourth floor, has two bedrooms, and, as detailed, it comes with air conditioning in both rooms. But what stood out the most was the price: 4,500 dollars.

“Here, that price is also relatively affordable compared to other apartments here in Cuba,” he replied in the comments when someone expressed surprise at the figure. He even revealed that the apartment is located in the Abel Santamaría neighborhood.

Amid messages of congratulations and blessings, many highlighted the value of starting over after a failed plan. Because, as @keki_mami made clear, more than just a purchase, this apartment represents a second chance.
