A Cuban has gone viral on TikTok after posting a video in which he showcases a house in Cuba as if he were a real estate agent in the United States. With an enthusiastic tone and realtor-like language, he presents the property, highlighting its advantages and assuring that all paperwork is in order.

“You asked me for it, here it is. Today the license is free, paperwork is in order. Two rooms, a bathroom, a platform. Stairs for the license,” he starts off before announcing the price: “Property in hand. 2,500 dollars”, he states while walking through the house, which features unfinished walls and areas still under construction.

The audiovisual content, accompanied by the text "Realtors in Cuba," has generated hundreds of comments, many of them filled with humor and irony. Some users asked seriously, “Where is it located?” or “Which province?” while others joked with phrases like “Does it have FHA? I have good credit” and “What is the down payment?”

There were also comparisons to the US real estate market. "Cash or financed through Banco Popular de Ahorro?" wrote one internet user, while another jokingly asked, "What's the mortgage at?" Even someone commented sarcastically, "Take advantage and buy, because if that collapses with Trump, they’ll sell you that same little house for 100,000 bucks."

Criticism did not go unnoticed. Some described the dwelling as a “pigpen,” while others defended the seller, highlighting his initiative and creativity. “He's doing great, earning his money. Good luck!”, wrote one user. Another remarked: “Many would wish to have the fighting spirit he possesses.” There was also someone who stated: “Let me tell you, the man has talent for doing that here; he would sell easily by learning a few tricks.” And another added: “Amazing real estate agent; if you were here, you would already be a millionaire.”

Amid jokes about credit, inquiries about the exact address, and messages of support, the video reflects both the ingenuity and the complex reality of the housing market in Cuba, where many properties require significant repairs but still attract interested buyers.

The clip demonstrates how, even amidst material limitations, Cuban ingenuity can turn any advertisement into a viral phenomenon.
