After the 10-year prison sentence against Chocolate MC, his sister Isis Sierra spoke out again on social media and conveyed a clear message: they are hurt, but they will keep moving forward.

Through her Instagram stories, Isis shared that she was in Miami for her brother's court proceedings and that she's on her way back. “I'm a bit lost because I've been super busy... I was here for my brother's court issue, but we're leaving now,” she explained while traveling to Tampa.

Far from appearing defeated, she assured that all is well, considering the circumstances. “We move forward because life goes on, we have to keep fighting and give it our all, and we cannot stop even for a second,” she said, also expressing gratitude to everyone who has reached out to her in recent days.

Along with her words, she shared an image of Chocolate in court, dressed in a red uniform, accompanied by a message with a strong religious undertone: “Above all, God is in control”. The post reinforces the message that the family had already hinted at regarding faith being a part of the process they are going through.

During the hearing, the reggaeton artist was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of probation, after pleading guilty in a deal that closed three criminal cases in Miami-Dade, among them incitement to the murder of Damian Valdez Galloso, as well as a kidnapping case and another for robbery.

Although Isis had already stated that they were not happy with the sentence, she also acknowledged that it could have been worse. Now, her message focuses on resilience, faith, and continuity, amid one of the most challenging times for the family of the so-called "King of Reparto."
