A Cuban woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing a video of herself dancing to Cuban timba in the aisles of a supermarket in the United States, spreading her energy to those nearby.

The clip, posted by the user @barbara.ana18, shows the woman moving naturally in front of one of the refrigerated sections of the establishment while Cuban music plays.

On the screen, a message also appears that encapsulates the spirit of the moment: “The vibe was born in Cuba, but the empire is built in the United States.”

In the short video, the protagonist effortlessly showcases timba dance steps in the middle of the supermarket, creating a contrast between the everyday setting and the spontaneity of the dance.

In one of the scenes, another woman who is standing behind appears to timidly join in the rhythm, which has elicited laughter among the viewers.

The video has sparked numerous reactions in the comments, with several internet users highlighting the charisma and joy of the Cuban. "Cienfuegos water in the house," wrote one user, while another joked, "Hey, they're going to make you manager of Publix."

Many also reacted to the woman who appears behind the dancer, who seems to be trying to keep up with the rhythm. "Oh, the lady in the back giving her all," one user commented with laughter. Another message summarized the general sentiment: "What a contagious vibe you have."

The clip adds to the long list of viral videos featuring Cubans on social media, where music and dance often become a spontaneous way to express identity and joy, even in the most unexpected places.
