More than two kilometers of celebration: the Calle Ocho Festival returns to Miami

La Pequeña Habana will once again be filled with music, food, and Latin culture during the 2026 Calle Ocho Festival, regarded as the largest Latin music festival in the world, taking place this Sunday, March 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Miami.

The free event, which is part of the traditional Carnaval Miami, will stretch for over 15 blocks along Calle Ocho, from SW 12th Street to SW 27th Avenue, featuring multiple stages, international cuisine, and cultural activities for the whole family, reported Telemundo 51.

Live music and guest artists

The festival will feature seven stages placed throughout the route, showcasing artists from various Latin genres such as salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and bachata.

Among the announced artists are Guaynaa, crowned as the king of Carnaval Miami 2026, along with Ronkalunga, Osmani García, and Lena Burke, who will perform on the stage of Telemundo 51 alongside 14 other artists and groups.

In addition to the music, the festival will feature more than 15 blocks of vendors and kiosks offering traditional foods from various Latin American and Caribbean countries.

Attendees will be able to enjoy popular dishes such as croquettes, empanadas, arepas, and other traditional flavors, as well as handicrafts and cultural products that reflect the diversity of the Hispanic community in Miami.

Family environment and security measures

The event is designed for enjoyment of all ages, featuring a festive atmosphere that celebrates Latino identity in the heart of Little Havana.

The organizers announced that there will be a strong police presence and street closures to ensure the safety of attendees throughout the day.

For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the organizers also offer a VIP pass at a cost of $140, which includes access to a special area, transportation around the festival grounds, reserved parking, and tastings of food and drinks.
