Millions of people participated this Saturday in a large day of protests across the United States and in various cities around the world against President Donald Trump, as part of the movement “No Kings”, which has been gaining visibility in recent months.

The mobilizations took place simultaneously at more than 3,000 locations, covering all 50 states in the country and several cities abroad.

The call, regarded by its organizers as one of the largest coordinated actions in recent times, took place amidst a climate of increasing political polarization and scrutiny of the current administration.

According to reports from NBC NewsFox News, and other U.S. media outlets, the protests were driven by multiple factors, including the war with Iran, the sustained rise in fuel and food prices, as well as the deportation policies implemented by the government.

In cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, thousands of protesters gathered in main squares and avenues, carrying signs and slogans against the presidential administration.

In some cases, the marches lasted several hours and caused disruptions in traffic and the usual activities of these cities.

Although most of the gatherings took place without incidents, tensions were reported in certain areas between protesters and law enforcement, with some arrests following isolated episodes of unrest.

Local authorities increased security in response to the scale of the gatherings.

The movement "No Kings" brings together various organizations and activists who challenge what they see as an excess of power from the White House.

Its promoters have emphasized the non-violent nature of the protests while seeking to broaden the scope of their demands on a national and international level.

The demonstrations were also mirrored in cities outside the United States, including European capitals, where groups of citizens expressed their rejection of U.S. foreign policy and, in particular, the escalation of the conflict with Iran.

According to recent surveys, a significant portion of the electorate has reservations about Trump's management in key areas such as the economy, immigration, and international policy, which has contributed to fueling this type of mobilization.

This third day of protests consolidates the growth of the movement and anticipates a scenario of greater social and political pressure in the coming weeks, in a country where internal divisions continue to shape public debate.
